We’re updating the Action Plan for the Santa Monica Bay National Estuary Program! The Action Plan outlines goals, actions and projects to protect, restore and enhance Santa Monica Bay and its watersheds. We want to hear from you!

Proposition 50
Proposition 50 (the Water Security, Clean Drinking Water, Coastal and Beach Protection Act of 2002) funds statewide water supply and quality programs. In 2021, the Commission recommended six projects for $3.2 million in funding to monitor habitats and improve water quality in the Bay and its watersheds.
